Thanks to Adam and Denise for having everyone over again this week and keeping everyone fed for the evening. A great collection of games, with a lot of unique titles we don’t see anywhere else. This week also saw the return of some of the original TOPL members, with Tom and Jennifer dropping by while they were in town. Glad you guys could make it out last night! This was also the last league night before the PAPA world championships, so good luck to those that are heading down to compete! There should be a good sized contingent of TOPL members playing, and live results will be up on papa.org through the weekend. Good luck to the crew making the trip-throw a comment up on topl.ca to let us know if you’re heading down so we know who to look for in the standings!
Scores and Standings-Week 8
Thanks to everyone who made it out this week, and to Jim for having us all out to his home to play his extensive collection of games. It seems like we’ve had new people almost every week this season, which is great to see. This was Jason’s first time out, and Myles brought Michelle for her first league night. Welcome to both of you, and hopefully this isn’t the last time we see you out to a TOPL event.
Scores and Standings Week 7
Thanks to Nick for having everyone out to play his great collection of games, and a special thanks to Kev for bringing up Samosas again! For all the people on vacation over the summer, we keep pulling in new members, so welcome to Sonia, Ron, and Russ! An even 28 last night, and aside from an unidentified burning smell coming from AFM, a successful one. This is the reason why only one group ended up posting scores for the game all night, and why there is no high score for Tron or AFM this week (a machine needs to be played by 4 groups to award a valid high score).
Scores and Standings-Week 6
Thanks to Luch for the pizza, beer, and pinball this week! Changing the settings and tilts on the games seems to have had the desired effect, because they were certainly playing harder and faster than last time we played at his house. It made for a fast and furious league night.
Scores and standings week 5
Thanks again to Kim for having everyone out to play his great collection of games, and for keeping everyone fed. We had a great turnout this week, including two new members: Dan and Jeremy. Welcome to the league guys-hope to see you out for the rest of the season.
Scores and Standings-Week 4
Thanks to everyone who made it out to my place last night-we had a good turnout, including a couple of new members. Sarah brought James out for his first week, and Devin made it out on a trip home from his research job in Japan. James, I hope we’ll see you and Sarah out for the rest of the season, and Devin-you’re welcome anytime you’re back in the country. Glad you could fit some beer and pinball into the trip.
Scores and Standings-Week 3
Thanks again to Eddie for opening up his collection of unique games to everyone, and for the BBQ. Also, a welcome to Ann, who has been out to a couple of tournaments, but it looks like this was her first regular league night, so welcome!

Scores and Standings-Week 2
Thanks to Adam and Denise for having everyone up to their place again, and keeping everyone fed through the evening. This was one of the quickest league nights that I can remember, with all 6 groups finishing league games in under 90 minutes, which says a lot about the difficulty of Adam’s games.
Congrats to Dave Newman on his first high score in a league game! High scores this week go to:
Scores and standings-Week 1
Another TOPL season has begun! Thanks again to Jim for hosting everyone and getting so many games into fighting shape. Also, a special thanks to Brock at Pinball Revolution for sponsoring the pizza.
We also had two new players last night, so welcome to Sarah and Robert. Hope to see you again for the rest of the season!
May 2014 Playoff Results
The playoffs for the season are complete, and John (JRF) came out ahead. Andrew, Zeus and Myles rounded out the top four.
Thanks again to Nick for hosting us for the day, and to everyone who helped make this tournament a success.
